Hi!

I hope this finds each of you well.  I found a picture of mom and daddy on their matching crutches and thought it was cute.  I also wanted to give you a quick up-date on my daddy.  To review a little, daddy has had the big toe amputated.  He had surgery last week to amputate the ball of the foot and the all the skin from the ball of the foot back to the heal.  Daddy has a Home Health nurse that comes 3 times a week to redress the wound.  His dressing changes are extremely painful!  July 14th he will go back to the surgeon to evaluate his progress and hopefully schedule the skin graph.  We had a dressing change yesterday and the nurse said she saw granulation which is new skin growth...Praise the Lord!!!!!  He still has so many obstacles to overcome but we have lots of positive healing to focus on.  Please continue to for him especially on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Those tend to be his most stressful and painful times.

Mom went back to the doctor today to have her leg checked out from her fall.  The doctor thought she might have a blood clot but thankfully she is going to be okay.   Mom has more recovery time and really needs to stay off her leg for awhile to allow healing.

Please be praying for me  as I travel back Thursday to Florence, Al to pick the kids up.  We are all ready to be home as a family.  It has been such a long summer of travel.  We will pack our bags again July 18th to welcome Kelly and Denny's baby, Oliva Faith to the family.  Kelly is Bobby's sister and will have a c-section on the 17th.  We are all so excited about the baby! Have a great week and I will talk to you soon.
